Why Tour the Wolf?
Yes, any salesperson can show you just their resort development or an Asheville real estate agent can drive you up to the Wolf Laurel area or you can even drive around on your own but consider this . . .

< We actually live here full-time on a Wolf Laurel mountain top over looking the slopes at beautiful Wolf Ridge Ski Resort. So this is our home not just a job and although we love where we live and work, our high mountain resort area is not for everyone. We will frankly discuss the many advantages and a few drawbacks of our area.

< You may have already noticed that home and lot prices vary widely in the resort area. Starting at under $25,000 per lot in Wolf Laurel and going up to almost $300,000 in the Preserve at Wolf Laurel and on up to $600,000 plus in the prestigious Peaks of Wolf Ridge near the expanded ski resort, new airport, the Lodge restaurant and the many amenities of Wolf Ridge and Breakaway Village. There is a lot to see and each resort has specific advantages, unique amenities and benefits.

< We do not represent any particular resort or development therefore, most importantly, you will receive a fair and balanced objective tour of all the communities in the area rather than concentrating on just one resort or property location.

About the Tour
By appointment only, we invite you on a leisurely drive through each of the resorts, providing a fair and balanced discussion of the existing and proposed amenities, activities, weather, views, prices and unique attributes of each resort without pressure or prejudice. Our goal is to provide accurate un-biased information to help you find the property that meets your personal needs, circumstances and price.

Here's what we'll do. First, we will meet at Wolf's Crossing Realty, just outside the resorts where you can relax and the kids can feed the ducks in our pond and watch a video tour of the entire area. Next we will drive up to the exciting new Breakaway Village with ski-in & ski-out properties, great views and a real village atmosphere. From there up to Haw Ridge Summit to see the new airport community, Wolf Ridge Ski Resort and The Peaks at Wolf Ridge where you'll have an opportunity to tour the year-round enclosed pool and see the unique Lodge Steaks & Ribs restaurant. While on our way down the mountain we will see the expansion area for the new ski slopes before entering into Wolf Laurel Resort. We will drive by the village area where there is a swimming pool, tennis courts, trout pond and spectacular log pavilion for community events. From there we'll go up the mountain by the Mountainside Townhomes and stop in to see the spectacular views from and tour the Wolf Laurel Country Club. Then we head over and down through The Preserve at Wolf Laurel to the restored historic Buck House and the East Gate near the horse stables. As we drive back through The Preserve we will see the BuckTown, Steeplechase and the Ridges sections before going back inside Wolf Laurel Resort to see several the signature golf course views. This is a lot to take in so at the end of the tour we'll stop for while on a mountain top deck where you can see forever and have some appetizers, the beverage of your choice and relax and enjoy the mountain views.

Staying at the historic Grove Park Inn or downtown in the Haywood Park Hotel are experiences not to be missed and we can suggest a variety of world-class restaurants, shopping & galleries, night life, cultural events and other tourist attractions for your enjoyment. The Wolf Laurel area is only 35 easy interstate minutes north from downtown Asheville but yet a world away in climate, dramatic mountain views and four-seasons of high mountain activities.
